Another season with Peep, Quack and Chirp

Recently we also wrapped production on the live action segments for the latest season of Peep and the Big Wide World.  This show featuring three bird characters (Peep, Quack and Chirp) may be seen nationally on TLC, Discovery Kids and locally in Boston on WGBH 2.   Unfortunately none of the segments are available to view online.  To get a sense of what we’ve been working on you can look at this list of “Anywhere Science Activities” from the show’s website. For each of these activities we produced a live action documentary style segment.

The animated series PEEP and the Big Wide World gives wings to the innovative idea of teaching science to preschoolers. Wry and distinctive visual humor, charming plotlines, and lovable characters combine with a comprehensive science program to attract and engage kids three to five years old.

Amazing Guide to Facebook by Mashable

Mashable, the Social Media Guide, has published an amazing Guide to Facebook.  Facebook has exploded and is becoming an essential component of business and nonprofit communication strategies.

If you’re organization is not on Facebook, time to get a move on.   Whatever you develop as a social media stategy, chances are Facebook will be part of it.

Don’t have a strategy? Shhhh!!! Don’t tell your boss.  Or if you’re the boss, don’t tell your stock holders. Let’s talk quick, before some young whipper snapper like me takes your job.  Seriously.

The Social Media Revolution

I told a friend the name of this site yesterday.  He asked why I used the word media instead of video.  “Aren’t you a video guy?”   Not anymore.  Maybe five years ago…

Today web, video, social media — its all fusing.  To serve clients I need to be an expert in communications, marketing and building relationships through online communication strategies.   The video below has been making the rounds for a while.  One in a series of why social media matters.

Welcome

Ah, the scent of a fresh new website!  Welcome to my new website and blog. I’ve worked on a wide range of social media projects and have been waiting for some of these to end before launching my own blog.

Over the last year my work has been growing  to include helping individuals and small organizations take their next steps with video and social media.   I’m enjoying the expanding scope of my work as I’m an educator at heart and love meeting and collaborating with new people.  For the last seven years I’ve been commuting to Boston to work on several nationally syndicated television shows.

This Summer I am moving to Cambridge, MA.  I look forward to meeting and working with those of you in the greater Boston area in person.
